Refund policy

1. Applicability

This policy applies to paid project fees for API documentation and developer experience consulting performed by API Raster Consulting (UEN 93690322M, Marcus Tan Wei Lian). It does not cover third-party expenses billed at cost with your prior approval.

2. Cooling-off

Singapore law does not provide a general statutory cooling-off period for bespoke B2B services. We nevertheless offer the fair-trading practices below in line with the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 spirit for transparent dealings.

3. Before work starts

If you cancel after signing a statement of work but before we commence billable work, fees paid for unstarted deliverables are refundable within seven calendar days of your written cancellation, minus any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred with your approval.

4. After work starts

Once documented in the statement of work as started, milestone payments and deposits are non-refundable for that milestone’s deliverables. If you terminate early, you pay for work performed through the termination date at the agreed daily or milestone rates.

5. Quality concerns

If deliverables materially deviate from the signed scope, notify us within five business days of receipt. We will correct documented defects within the revision rounds specified in your statement of work at no additional fee. Refunds are considered only when correction is not feasible and failure is not caused by incomplete information from your team.

6. Rescheduling

Workshop dates may be rescheduled once with at least three business days notice without penalty. Late cancellations of scheduled workshops may forfeit up to fifty percent of the workshop fee to cover reserved time.

7. How to request a refund

Email info@api-raster.digital or call +65-6000-1910 with your company name, statement of work reference, and reason. We respond within five business days and process approved refunds to the original payment method within fourteen calendar days.
